Freedom was founded in 1969 and was one of the first in the social expression industry to recognize a need for the African American market.

We have grown from our humble beginnings and are now considered to be on the leading edge of manufacturers in nearly every trend in the Traditional and Contemporary greeting card marketplace. We are creating and delivering product and innovative ideas that benefit thousands of retailers and millions of consumers around the world. Leading mass merchants, independent retailers as well as other manufacturers come to depend on Freedom's more than 3,000 Seasonal and All Occasion titles.

Freedom has accounts in more than 37 countries and develops products at manufacturing sites in the United States, Canada, China, Korea and New Zealand, all of which is overseen by its world headquarters in Bensalem, PA, a northern suburb of Philadelphia. While we have physically grown in size since 1969, we continue to maintain those values that have helped us get to where we are today - uncompromising integrity, trust, product innovation and listening to our customers, all of which make Freedom a company that differs from its competition.
